Seminar: Current Korean Topics

On July 20, DKW e.V. in cooperation with Dr. Martin Henkelmann, President & CEO of Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, offered its members an insight into the political and economic situation in Korea during an open discussion followed by a get-together.

He reported to the off- and online participating listeners about various current topics, such as the increasing importance of Korea as a global technology location and economic hotspot of the Asia-Pacific region. Or about Korea’s change of foreign policy course after the presidential elections in March and offered interested participants first-hand insider knowledge.

Special attention was also paid to Germany’s and German companies’ economic and political relations with the country, which have repeatedly faced new challenges in the context of the pandemic and geopolitical developments of recent years.
