Korean Consulate General and the city Oberursel invite: „Altstadtmarkt.Regional.Genuss“ – Saturday, 28.09.2024, 10 am-6pm

Dear members and friends of DKW e.V.,

the weekly “Altstadtmarkt.Regional.Genuss” in Oberursel (15 minutes north of Frankfurt) offers a special opportunity to get to know Korean culture on Saturday, 28 September 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in cooperation with the Korean Consulate General. Under the motto “Korea meets Orschel,” there will be a variety of offerings of culinary specialties and unique items at over 20 stands by German and Korean partners on the historic market square. The market will be opened at 11:00 AM by Mayor Antje Runge and the Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Kyungsok Koh. Additionally, a complementary stage program around Korea will showcase further facets of Korea to the market visitors. For Korean guests, there will be a guided tour of the old town in Korean at 2:00 PM, which will draw visitors’ attention to hidden features and provide them with interesting insights into the history of Oberursel.
